 Election Night Results - November 3, 2020

After the polls close at 7:00 p.m., the Vote-by-Mail ballots results will be posted at approximately 7:15 p.m., Early Voting results will post at approximately 7:30 p.m., followed by Election Day precinct votes as they are transmitted from the precincts.

 Monday, October 19, 2020 – First day of Early Voting at 33 locations conveniently located throughout Miami-Dade County. These will remain open for 14 days through Sunday, November 1, 2020, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. For a list of locations and wait times during the official Early Voting period.  

Official Ballot Drop Boxes at all 33 Early Voting locations from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and at four (4) sites on the Monday before Election Day and on Election Day. Locations are on pages 9 and 11 of the Sample Ballot and at the bottom of the Early Voting schedule.

Saturday, October 24, 2020 – Per state law, any voter who wishes to have a mail ballot sent to their home must submit their request no later than 5:00 p.m. on this day. Requests may be submitted online, over the phone, in person, in writing or faxed to Miami-Dade County Election's office. 

If a voter forgets to sign their vote-by-mail envelope or their signature does not match, state law allows voters the opportunity to submit an affidavit to cure their vote-by-mail ballot. The affidavit must be completed and submitted to the Miami-Dade County Elections Department, along with a copy of their identification, by 5:00 p.m. on the second day after an election (November 5, 2020).

Tuesday, November 3, 2020 – On Election Day, polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and voters must go to their assigned voting location. Voters whose polling place was changed are notified by mail and signage is placed at the original location redirecting the voter to the new location, consistent with Florida Statute.

Provisional Ballot - A person casting a provisional ballot shall have the right to present written evidence supporting their eligibility to vote to the Supervisor of Elections by no later than 5:00 p.m. on the second day following the election (November 5, 2020).
