Application Submission Cut-off Dates for Review of Initial Application for all events during 11/28 to 12/4/2022.
Please be advised that due to the high volume of applications received during Miami Art Week in previous years, the Office of Film and Entertainment has imposed a cutoff date for Special Event and Temporary Event applications for Miami Art Week as October 28, 2022, at 12:00 PM*. Applications submitted prior to the deadline date must be complete with all required documentation. If you have any questions, please contact us prior to the cut-off date.

- If you're hosting any event that requires street closure, takes place on City property, will take place at a park for more than 300 people, or you plan to have alcohol, then you need to apply for a Special Event permit.
- Applications for temporary event permits shall be submitted at least 30 days in advance of the temporary event. Applications that do not comply with this requirement shall only be considered upon payment of double the application fee and availability of city staff to review.
