Regular residential recycling collection service in the City of Miami is back. Beginning today, September 1st, regular residential recycling service will resume on normal schedule.

Due to the ongoing pandemic the Department of Solid Waste wants you to know that there may be some delays in collecting the blue bins. However those blue bins will be serviced the following day. Remember no garbage or COVID-19 protective supplies are permitted in the blue bins. Only recycle aluminum cans, paper, cardboard, and plastic and glass bottles in order to reduce contamination.  A contaminated truck load may be rejected by the recycling processor and thus be transported to another disposal facility and treated as waste. Do your part to keep Miami clean. Visit miamizerowaste.com for more information.
