Regularly Scheduled Garbage Pick Up on Memorial Day

The City of Miami Department of Solid Waste will be conducting regularly-scheduled garbage collection on Monday, May 25, 2020, Memorial Day Holiday. Due to the COVID-19 State of Emergency, recycling collection is temporarily suspended and bulky trash collection is taking place every other week. Please refer to the bulky trash collection schedule you received in the mail or find it attached for more information. Residents whose garbage is always collected on Monday should place their items out as they usually do. Residents with questions or concerns are encouraged to call 311 or (305) 468-5900.
Residents are reminded to:
- Place garbage and bulky trash out in front of their home on the public right of way and away from phones/cable/electricity lines, under trees, utility poles, fire hydrants, fences, vehicles and/or 5 feet away from any structure.
Residents can also dispose of their bulky items at the Department of Solid Waste, Mini Dump Facility which will also be open on Monday. Please refer below for more information:
