Regular Garbage, Bulky Trash and Recycling Pick Up on Independence Day

(Miami, FL July 1, 2019) - The City of Miami Department of Solid Waste will be conducting regularly-scheduled garbage, bulky trash and recycle pick up on Thursday, July 4th, 2019, Independence Day. Residents whose bulky trash is always collected on Thursday should place their items out as they usually do. Residents with questions or concerns are encouraged to call 311 or (305) 468-5900.
Residents are reminded to:
- Place garbage, recycle carts and bulky trash out in front of their home on the public right of way and away from phones/cable/electricity lines, under trees, utility poles, fire hydrants, fences, vehicles and/or 5 feet away from any structure.
Residents can also dispose of their bulky items at the Department of Solid Waste Mini Dump Facility, which will also be open on July 4th, Independence Day. The Mini Dump Facility will be open during the following observed holiday hours:
Thursday, July 4th, 2019, from 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Proof of City of Miami Residency is required
