Miami Commission Approves New Adjustments to Phase III Guidelines
Published on October 09, 2020
Last night, City of Miami Commissioners unanimously voted to push enforcing the nightly curfew back an hour and to expand restrictions on restaurant occupancy loads. The new adjustments to the reopening guidelines include allowing restaurants to operate at 100% capacity with certain restrictions and directs the City Manager to not enforce Miami-Dade County's curfew before midnight within city limits.
Although these resolutions are in full effect in all city of Miami districts, Miami residents, business owners and visitors should be advised that per Miami-Dade County's Emergency Order 30-20, Miami-Dade Police and County inspectors will continue to enforce the countywide 11 p.m. curfew. Businesses that fail to adhere to these rules and enforce them with patrons and employees are subject to penalties including immediate closure.
