Mayor Suarez Hosting U.S. HUD Secretary Dr. Ben Carson

(Miami, FL March 14, 2019) - Tomorrow, Friday, March 15, Miami Mayor Francis Suarez will host U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary Dr. Ben Carson for a tour of City-supported affordable housing projects. The pair will visit two affordable housing projects – The Villages Miami (Phase I) development and the Tuscany Cove housing development, which is currently under construction. Mayor Suarez and Secretary Carson will hold a media availability at the Tuscany Cove site.

"I look forward to hosting Secretary Carson tomorrow and demonstrating how the City of Miami is working with public and private sector partners to provide affordable housing options to City residents," said Mayor Suarez. "Ensuring all Miamians have access to a good quality of life and the opportunity to achieve prosperity is fundamental to our work as public servants."
