Hispanic Heritage Month

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month, Miami!

It's time to celebrate our rich & diverse Hispanic culture in the Magic City.

The beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month is marked by the independence dates for many Latin American countries. Watch below to find out more.

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, we honor former Miami Mayor, Maurice A. Ferré. He was the first Hispanic Mayor of Miami & is known as the father of modern-day Miami. Saturday, September 19th marks one year since his passing. His legacy is embedded in our Magic City and will never be forgotten.

Did you know: According to the U.S. Census surveys, the Hispanic population in the U.S. is over 60M - the largest ethnic minority group in the nation! Learn more below.
