Dream in Green Mayor's Challenge
Published on February 10, 2020
The changing climate will undoubtedly have an impact on Miami’s youngest residents, underscoring the importance of engaging our next generation on the issue now. To encourage youth participation and learning, City of Miami Mayor Francis Suarez has partnered with local nonprofit Dream in Green, inviting local schools to participate in the ‘Dream in Green Mayor’s Challenge’.
Local schools are invited to submit their own 3-minute Public Service Announcement (PSA) video on how to tackle water quality issues facing Biscayne Bay for a chance to win a $1,000 grant.
- K-12 schools (public and charter) must be located within the City of Miami
- City of Miami private schools may submit a video, but will not be eligible for grant awards
- Schools must be enrolled in the Green Schools Challenge
