City of Miami Department of Solid Waste Labor Day Services 2020

COVID-19 Updates

In observance of Labor Day, the City of Miami Department of Solid Waste will conduct its regularly-scheduled garbage and bulky trash services on Monday, September 7, 2020.

Residents who receive garbage and bulky trash services should place their green cart or bulky trash items on the public right of way five feet away from all objects the evening before collection day. 

Residents can also dispose of their bulky trash items at the Department of Solid Waste’s Mini Dump Facility located on 1290 N.W. 20th St. from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Labor Day. Proof of City of Miami residency is required.   

As a reminder, recycling collection service has resumed in the City of Miami – residents may experience some delays in service due to the ongoing pandemic. For upcoming collection days, please refer to your 2020 recycling calendar.
