Boat Ramps in City of Miami to Reopen Monday, June 15

(Miami, FL - June 12, 2020) - Public boat ramps located within the City of Miami reopen to boaters next Monday, June 15, with health safety rules in place and City personnel onsite to enforce them.

Rules
Specific rules for boat ramp users, including boat owners and guests, are as follows and in line with Miami-Dade County orders:

  • Facial coverings must be worn while onshore and until the vessel is both fully loaded AND has departed the marina
  • One boat per launch ramp shall be permitted at a time
  • Vessels shall be prepared in advance of launch; all passengers shall promptly board the vessel once it is launched
  • Upon returning, all passengers shall remain on the vessel until the boat is ready to loaded on to the trailer; all passengers shall return to their vehicles and exit the facility immediately

Locations and Hours
The following public boat ramp facilities in the City of Miami will be open beginning on Monday, June 15: 

  • Antonio Maceo Park Boat Ramp: 7:00am to 7:00pm daily
  • Gerry Curtis Park Boat Ramp: 7:00am to 7:00pm daily
  • Morningside Park Boat Ramp: 7:00am to 7:00pm daily
  • Seminole Boat Ramp: 6:00am to 8:00pm daily
  • Watson Island Boat Ramp: 6:00am to 8:00pm daily
