Hiring Event for 2020 U.S. Census

(Miami, FL - January 24, 2020) - Next Tuesday, January 28th, the City of Miami Opportunity Center, in conjunction with the U.S. Census Bureau, is hosting a hiring event for local residents interested in working on the upcoming 2020 U.S. Census count. Jobs include census takers, clerks, field supervisors and office operations supervisors.

Census workers will play a critical role in making Miami a better place for all who live here, because an accurate census count of local residents with help Miami secure federal funds for local housing programs, education, new infrastructure and other important projects that directly benefit Miamians.
