Volunteer Naturalist Leader

Welcome visitors to the natural areas and provide opportunities for community members to learn. Activities include conducting nature tours, guiding education stations, and staffing booths at outreach events. For more information, contact Gloria Antia.

Nature Clean-ups

Protect and engage with nature by volunteering to assist in its habitat restoration and clean-up. Twice a month, the City of Miami Parks and Recreation Department hosts a clean-up at one of the three Miami Natural Areas. Volunteer tasks vary and may include the following activities: debris removal, exotic invasive plan removal, and park clean-ups (trails and beach).

Group Clean-ups

Protect and engage with nature by volunteering as a team to assist in its restoration and clean-up. If an organization is interested in  planning a group volunteer day, please contact Gloria Antia.
