Thomas M. Fossler

Assistant City Attorney

Mr. Fossler joined the Office of the City Attorney in April 2021. He is currently assigned to the Real Estate and Compliance Division where he handles public records and compliance issues. Prior to becoming an Assistant City Attorney, Mr. Fossler served as the Chief of Staff to the Village Manager at the Village of Key Biscayne where he handled day-to-day operations in the Village Manager’s Office including creation of the annual budget, formal bidding and award of contracts, and strategic planning. Mr. Fossler also served as the Chief Procurement Officer in the Town of Miami Lakes where he was responsible for all aspects of procurement including department compliance with the purchasing ordinance, contract negotiation, bid protests, and contract disputes.

Education: Juris Doctorate (2015), Florida International University College of Law; Bachelor of Science (2012), University of Miami.
