Ms. Hernandez joined the Office of the City Attorney in February 2022 and currently supervises the Public Records and Compliance Division. She currently handles code enforcement, nuisance abatement, land use, and quality of life matters along with related litigation. Prior to joining the Office, Ms. Hernandez was a partner at various private firms and also served as the City Attorney for the City of Coral Gables for fifteen years. Ms. Hernandez is "AV" rated by Martindale Hubble's peer rating system and is Board Certified by The Florida Bar in City, County, and Local Government.
