Mr. Goehl joined the Office of the City Attorney in November 2021 and is assigned to the Labor and Employment Division handling worker’s compensation matters. Prior to joining the City, Mr. Goehl handled worker’s compensation cases for 27 years in private practice. Mr. Goehl’s representation includes litigation at the trial level through the appellate process. Mr. Goehl has taken dozens of worker’s compensation claims to trial, along with several successful appeals. Mr. Goehl is "AV" rated by Martindale Hubble's peer rating system, the highest rating achievable for both legal abilities and ethics, since 2012. Mr. Goehl is also “AV” rated by Martindale Hubble’s Judicial Edition, the highest rating achievable for both legal abilities and ethics as reflected by the confidential opinions of the members of the Bar and the Judiciary, since 2019.
