Current Work Status:  

SW 10^th Street:

• Working to complete milling & resurfacing on SW 10th Street. Work is estimated to be completed in February 2023.
  
  

SW 9^th Street:

• Drainage work –Work on SW 9th Street has been mostly completed and is only pending the replacement of missing brick pavers on the NE quadrant of SW 9th Street & SW 1st Avenue. 
  
  

SW 1^st Avenue:

• Work is being performed one lane at a time, from North to South –Tentative milling & resurfacing on SW 1st Avenue during the 2nd week of February 2023.
  
  

Work Completed:

• SW 7^th Street to SW 8^th Street – milling, resurfacing and temporary striping work is complete on this segment!

• SW 9^th Street to SW 11^th Street – manholes adjusting and leveling work on these three streets (SW 9^th, 10^th and 11^th Streets on SW 1^st Avenue)

• SW 11th Street - milling, resurfacing and temporary striping work is complete on this segment!

• SW 12 Street - milling, resurfacing and temporary striping work is complete on this segment!

Notice of Construction Work

The City of Miami will be making much needed improvements and repairs during the next few months. Personnel and equipment from V. Engineering & Consulting Corp. will be working in your neighborhood during this time.

Construction for this project is anticipated to commence in July 2019 and is anticipated to be completed by 2022. Please note that this schedule may be subject to change due to adverse weather or other unexpected conditions.

Maintenance of Traffic (MOT)

Starting July 22, 2019 temporary traffic changes will be in place to ensure the work zone is safe during work. Motorist are asked to take extra care, keep to displayed speed limits and observe traffic controls and signage when traveling through work areas.

Construction is set to begin on SW 12 Street from SW 1 Avenue to South Miami Avenue.
