South Golden Pines - No Outlet Streets Improvements

The City of Miami Office of Capital Improvements is currently working in the design and typical sections of the “South Golden Pines No-Outlet Streets Improvements.”  This project will have a Joint Partnership Agreement (JPA) with Water & Sewer of Miami-Dade County (WASD), where both entities will benefit of working together in partnership. 

La Oficina de Mejoras Capitales de la Ciudad de Miami está trabajando actualmente en el diseño y las secciones típicas de las “Mejoras de Calles sin Salidas de South Golden Pines”. Este proyecto tendrá un Acuerdo de Asociación Conjunta (JPA) con Water & Sewer of Miami-Dade County (WASD), donde ambas entidades se beneficiarán de trabajar juntas en asociación.

Projected project cost / Costo aproximado: $2.6 Million

The project will include:  

• Roadway reconstruction and widening for improved mobility
• Drainage improvements to reduce street flooding
• Valley gutters for rain water channeling
• ADA ramps for inclusive accessibility
• Improved Landscaping for neighborhood beautification and shade (trees)

• Mejoras de drenaje para reducir estancamiento de aquas pluviales
• Canaletas para dirigir el agua hacia las alcantarillas
• Rampas ADA para acceso inclusivo a todos
• Paisajismo para embelleciminto del barrio y proporcionar sombra y comodidad (árboles)
