West Coconut Grove Roadway Improvements

The City of Miami Office of Capital Improvements (OCI) is currently working in the design of a roadway improvements project in West Coconut Grove in District 2. 

Project Boundaries:

The project includes several streets in the neighborhood, from Day Avenue to Florida Avenue -- including Percival Avenue, Oak Avenue, and Frow Avenue -- between Brooker Street and Douglas Road (within City limits).

Benefits of this project include:
  • Reconstruction of road and drainage improvements,
  • Milling and resurfacing,
  • ADA ramp upgrades and sidewalk and driveway approach,
  • pavement markings restoration and landscaping,
  • curb and gutter installation. Includes lighting and possible environmental remediation.

Resident Involvement:

In order to complete the design of this roadway improvements project, the Office of Capital Improvements (OCI) will mail out easement agreements to the residents who reside within the project boundaries. These easements are necessary to upgrade the sidewalks and driveway approaches in some areas, as part of the project.
