City of Miami Affordable Housing Master Plan - (Posted 08-29-19)

City of Miami - Department of Housing & Community Development

OPEN HOUSES for the public this September to gather input on possible strategies for the City of Miami Affordable Housing Master Plan draft

This September, the City of Miami will hold two Saturday OPEN HOUSES where it will provide an update on the progress made on the City of Miami’s Affordable Housing Master Plan (“Plan”), presently being drafted by the Florida International University (FIU) Jorge M. Pérez Metropolitan Center. At the two OPEN HOUSES, representatives of the Metropolitan Center will provide data and potential strategies that can help create additional affordable housing in the City, plus they will gather valuable feedback from attendees on their concerns and opinions. The OPEN HOUSE format is flexible -  attendees can arrive at any time within the session window and stay as long as they would like. Attendees are urged to ask questions of representatives, view a short video and complete a feedback survey. Resident input is critical towards the finalization of the Plan, to be issued sometime later this year. The sessions will be held as follows
