Federal regulations governing CDBG and other HUD programs require that a participating jurisdiction provide citizens with reasonable notice of and an opportunity to comment on any new allocation and/or amendment of HUD programs.  In addition, the public is advised of the new allocation(s)/amendment(s) to the funding of the City program(s) as indicated below: * †

Discuss and proposed resolution authorizing the allocation of HOME program income from February 1, 2021 to October 31, 2021, in the amount of $106,028.49 and an additional amount of $888,496.63 of recaptured funds, for a total amount of $994,525.12, to the eligible HOME activities, as specified below:

* The adoption of an Ordinance or Resolution by the City Commission, related to the proposed funding recommendation(s)/ amendment(s), authorizes the City Manager to draft/amend the appropriate City of Miami Action Plan.

† † This item(s) will be available for public comment and review for a period of no less than 30 days. The review and comment period begin, Tuesday March 15, 2022 and ends Wednesday, April 13, 2022. The proposed funding recommendation(s)/ amendment(s) will be presented to City Commission for approval on Thursday, April 14, 2022 as authorized by HUD.

Interested individuals are encouraged to attend this Public Hearing.
