Federal regulations governing CDBG and other HUD programs require that a participating jurisdiction provide citizens with reasonable notice of and an opportunity to comment on any new allocation and/ or amendment of HUD programs.  In addition, the public is advised of the proposed new allocation(s)/ amendment(s) to the funding of the City program(s) as indicated below: * † ‡

1. Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the allocation of program income from Community Development Block Grant (“CDBG”) funds generated from October 1, 2018 to January 30, 2019 in the amount of $820,018.52. 

2. Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the allocation of program income from Home Investment Partnership (“HOME”) program funds generated from May 1, 2018 to January 30, 2019 in the amount of $1,076,978.15. 

3. Discuss and proposed resolution approving the City of Miami (“City”) Local Housing Assistance Plan (“LHAP”) for the period of July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2022, for the continued participation of the City in theFlorida State Housing Initiatives Partnership “(SHIP”) program. 

4. Discuss and proposed resolution approving the assigment of the Purchase and Sales agreement of the City of Miami (“City”) owned parcels of land located at 6240 NW 15 Avenue, 1501,1515, 1525,1535, 1551, 1560, 1520, 1500, NW 62 Street, from Atlantic Pacific Communities, LLC ("Atlantic”) to Residences at Dr. King Boulevard, Ltd; for the construction of affordable/workforce housing for eligible low to moderate income persons.

* The adoption of an Ordinance or Resolution by the City Commission, related to the proposed funding recommendation(s)/ amendment(s), authorizes the City Manager to draft/amend the appropriate City of Miami ActionPlan. 

† This item(s) will be available for public comment and review for a period of no less than 30 days. The review and comment period begins, Tuesday, March 12, 2019 and ends Wednesday, April 10, 2019. The proposed funding recommendation(s)/amendment(s) will be presented to City Commission for approval on Thursday, April 11, 2019 (public hearing).
