RFP Virtual Workshop HOPWA funding for FY21
The City of Miami is seeking Proposals from interested not-for-profit organizations to serve as project sponsors (HOPWA) to carry out eligible activities supporting the City’s Annual Action Plan goals and objectives for FY2021 (October 1, 2021 through September 30, 2022). The City will issue an online Request for Proposal (RFP) on Friday, February 5, 2021, 9 a.m., to allocate Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) funds from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in the following categories: Tenant Based Rental Assistance (TBRA), Housing Quality Standards (HQS), Short Term Rental Mortgage & Utility (STRMU), Project Based Operating Support and Technical Assistance. The following is the approximate amount available for the HOPWA program (pending HUD confirmation of award): $2,000,000
The City will hold one virtual workshop on Monday, February 22, 2021, 2 pm-4 pm, for this RFP via Zoom, to allow potential applicants to ask and address any RFP-related questions prior to the deadline. Attendees must pre-register in order to receive a link to attend the virtual workshops.
