CDBG ESG Request for Proposal

RFP Workshops CDBG/ESG funding for FY23-24 and FY24-25

The City of Miami is seeking Proposals from interested not-for-profit organizations to serve as subrecipients (CDBG/ESG) to carry out eligible activities supporting the City’s Annual Action Plan goals and objectives for FY2023 (October 1, 2023 through September 30, 2024) and FY2024 (October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025). The City will issue an online Request for Proposal (RFP) on Monday, February 6, 2023, 9 a.m., to allocate funds from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), for Community Development Block Grant(CDBG) orEmergency Solutions Grant(ESG) funding. The following are approximate amounts available for each program (pending HUD confirmation of awards): CDBG: $3,500,000; ESG $400,000.

The City will hold four (4) workshops related to the RFP, in-person, as noted below. Potential applicants can ask and address any RFP-related questions at the workshop. The questions and answers from that workshop will be posted on this webpage within 48 hours of the workshop’s conclusion. Questions related to RFP can also be directed to rtazoe@miamigov.com by the RFP deadline of Monday, March 6, 2023, midnight.
