Copy of a request for a Whistleblower Hearing from Matthew Sarelson, Attorney, on behalf of Heather Morris, former Deputy Chief, pursuant to Florida Statue 112.3187. (DISCUSSION)

Matthew S. Sarelson, Attorney, appeared before the Board on behalf of Heather Morris, former Deputy Police Chief, to explain the reason for his request. Kevin Jones, Supervisor Assistant City Attorney, expressed no objection to the request. Following discussion and questions by Board Members Cabrera and Sutton, the Board made a motion to GRANT the request, which resulted as follows:

Continuation from November 16, 2021.

The Board resumed the Investigation hearing on behalf of Jorge Torres, et al, pursuant to Civil Service Rule 16.1.
Osnat K. Rind, Attorney, continued direct examination of witnesses.
Witnesses testifying at the request of the employee appeared in the following order:

Jorge Delgado, Property Maintenance Supervisor, Department of GSA. Questions were posed by Member Jimenez.

Ricardo Falero, former Director of GSA, retired. Questions were posed by Members Cabrera, Jimenez, Sutton.
Due to the lateness of the day, continuation of the hearing will be scheduled for a Special meeting on Thursday, December 16, 2021.
