Continuation of the Whistleblower Hearing from April 4, 2023.

Attorney Guillen advised the Board, Ms Richardson and Mr. Roberts will not be called today. He went on to request the Civil Service Board staff to re-issue subpoenas to the individuals. Special Counsel advised Attorney Guillen, that new subpoenas will be provided to him; however, he will have to follow the proper procedures to have them served.
The Motion will be removed from the docket.

Chair Sutton called for the continuation of the Whistleblower Hearing on behalf of Lourdes Blanco, former Executive Director of the Miami Arts & Exhibition Authority, regarding a Termination, effective October 25, 2018.
Attorney Ramon Guillen appeared on behalf of Lourdes Blanco, former Executive Director. Adanna Ferguson, Assistant City Attorney appeared on behalf of the City of Miami.
The Board continued with direct testimony of the following witness:

Due to expediency, Attorney Guillen called the following witness out of turn:

Thomas Regalado, former Mayor, City of Miami. No questions were posed by Board Members.
Following discussion, the Board continued with direct testimony of Lourdes Blanco.
Breaks were taken at: 11:55 am – 1:04 pm (lunch); 1:55 pm – 2:25 pm; 3:50 pm – 4:00 pm.
Due to time constraints, the Board recessed for the day at 4:40pm.
