Alcohol Service Establishments

- Until further notice, bars and alcohol service establishments that are not licensed as public food service establishments by the State of Florida must remain closed, per Miami-Dade County emergency order.
- The rescinding of Florida Executive Order 20-09, allowing bars and alcohol service establishments to reopen at 50% capacity effective September 14, does not apply in Miami-Dade County.
Under Amendment 2 to Miami-Dade County Emergency Order 23-20, certain alcohol service establishments within City of Miami limits were approved to reopen as of Monday, June 8. Per Miami-Dade County, only those alcohol service establishments licensed as a public food service establishment pursuant to Chapter 509, Florida Statutes may: 1. Sell food and alcoholic beverages for onsite consumption in conformance with the rules set for restaurants found here in the Miami-Dade County New Normal Handbook and 2. Host performances if performers are no less than 10 feet from patrons at all times and patrons observe performances from tables or stationary seats.
