Open with Mandatory Requirements

Five City of Miami pools are open with mandatory requirements.

  • Gibson Pool
  • Miami Rowing Center Pool
  • Miller J. and Nancy S. Dawkins Olympic Swimming Pool

Rules & Requirements

  • All patrons must submit to temperature and screening questions prior to being granted entry
  • No unaccompanied minors under the age of 18 will be granted entry
  • Face masks are required at all times, other than when physically swimming 
  • Keep 6ft away from any pool patron not from your household
  • Swim time is limited to 50 minutes per visit; patrons will enter pool facility at the top of the hour and exit facility at the bottom of the hour
  • Upon entry to the facility, patrons must apply hand sanitizer 
  • Swimmers should arrive in swim attire and not plan to change out of swimwear onsite
  • Bathroom access is limited to one person at a time
  • Activities are limited to lap swim during designated time and open swim during designated time 
  • No horseplay in the water will be tolerated. No lingering on the pool deck is allowed.
  • No shared use of equipment such as kickboards, pull buoys, goggles or towels
  • Water fountains are not accessible, please bring your filled water bottle for hydration purposes
  • **Waiver is required for each visit
