Miami was spared the worst of Hurricane Dorian, and now we’re stepping up to help our neighbors in the Bahamas who have been devastated by the storm. The City of Miami is collecting newly-purchased emergency supplies – including unused supplies left over from our own recent storm preparation – and coordinating distribution to Bahamians in need through the generous assistance of RAV Bahamas and Norwegian Cruise Line.
We are dedicated to helping our Bahamian friends as much as possible, as fast as possible. Please drop off items from the following list of goods at any of the City of Miami Fire Stations listed below, or at Greater St. Paul AME Church and Christ Episcopal Church, both located in the heart of Coconut Grove’s historic Bahamian community. It’s time for all of us to come together and be #BAHAMASTRONG.
