CITY OF MIAMI
CLOSES ON MONDAY DUE TO HURRICANE WILMA
NON-ESSENTIAL EMPLOYEES SHOULD NOT REPORT TO WORK- GARBAGE
COLLECTION SUSPENDED |
(Miami, Florida)— City of Miami facilities will be closed for business
on Monday, October 24th, due to Hurricane Wilma. All non-essential
personnel are advised not report to work on Monday. However, all
essential employees should report to work as scheduled. City
employees should call the employee hotline for any further updates at
305-329-4700.
In addition, City of Miami residents should be advised that regularly
scheduled garbage collection is suspended on Monday. Residents
should not put out any garbage, trash, or recyclable items out for
collection on Monday. Residents with any questions should call 311.
All City business should resume as scheduled on Tuesday, October 25th,
unless otherwise advised.
