REGULARLY SCHEDULED GARBAGE COLLECTION CONTINUES IN THE CITY OF MIAMI
-Residents are asked to leave their garbage out if it is not collected on the usual date-

(Miami, FL.)— The City of Miami will continue regularly scheduled garbage collection on Monday, October 31, 2005. Due to Hurricane Wilma, crews may be delayed in collecting garbage, but will finish their daily route the following morning.

Residents are asked to please leave their garbage out if it is not collected on the regular collection date as crews will take care of those homes the following morning.

Hurricane Wilma debris collection will also continue throughout this week. Crews are scattered throughout the city collecting vegetation left over by the storm. So far more than 70,000 cubic yards of vegetation has been collected since the city began cleaning up.

Residents are reminded that they should separate vegetation from other bulky items in order to assist crews and expedite the city-wide clean-up.

We encourage residents with any questions about garbage service to call 311.
