(Miami, FL.)— In an effort to prevent looting and to keep our community safe, City of Miami Police will be enforcing a curfew on Monday night from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am. This measure is in line with Miami-Dade County’s mandate and will help keep residents out of danger as the streets are littered with fallen trees, branches, glass and power lines. The curfew will not apply to municipal workers and other officials working on recovery efforts due to Hurricane Katrina.

The City of Miami is urging residents to abide by the curfew.
