The Department of Employee Relations is the
official custodian of personnel records.
If requests for public records not related to
personnel records are being requested the
appropriate City department would need to be
contacted. Please be advised that the City of
Miami will not release:
o SSN’s
o Personal health information
o Or confidential information without the
appropriate legal releases.
The City of Miami may exercise its right not to
release other records that are covered as
exemptions under
Florida Statute 119. Please refer to the
Florida Public Records Act or
www.idiganswers.com for additional
information.
