Multi-Family Affordable Rental Housing
The Department of
Community Development provides federal, state,
and/or local funding to private developers to build affordable housing units
within the limits of the City of Miami. The City funds a portion of the total
cost of the project and in return the developer provides a pre-determined number
of affordable rental housing units to be rented to low-to-moderate income
families. The number of affordable housing units in a project is based on the
amount of subsidy provided by the City. This funding allows developers to offer
city residents with brand new or fully reconditioned apartment units at
affordable rents.
How to Rent a Multi-Family Affordable Unit?
Multi-Family projects are
managed by private developers. If you wish to rent one of these affordable
housing units, please contact the
developer
directly.
