(Miami, Florida)--Pursuant to Executive Order 05-219 issued by Florida Governor Jeb Bush, the November 1, 2005 General Municipal Election and November 15, 2005 Runoff Election have been rescheduled. A general municipal election will now be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2005, from 7:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M., in the City of Miami, Florida, at the polling places in the several election precincts designated by the Board of County Commissioners of Miami-Dade County, Florida, at which election the qualified electors participating therein will vote for the nomination of candidates for the offices of the Mayor and two District Commissioners of the City of Miami, Florida, to be each voted on at the runoff election which is to be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2005, unless in the general municipal election a candidate receives a majority vote for the prospective office for which he or she is a candidate.
