NO GARBAGE PICK UP ON MONDAY, JANUARY 16TH
FOR CITY OF MIAMI RESIDENTS

 

(Miami, Florida)—In observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday, city of Miami residents are advised there will be NO garbage, trash or recycling pick-up on Monday, January 16th, 2006. The Solid Waste Department will be closed and will resume normal operations on Tuesday, January 17th. City of Miami residents should hold their trash/garbage/recycling until the next scheduled pick-up day.

**Christmas trees will be picked up during the regular trash schedule until January 15th, 2006. After that day, citizens are asked to bring them to the city’s mini dump, located at 1290 NW 20th Street.

Residents are reminded to:

l  Separate vegetation from other trash and bulky items to expedite the garbage  
      pick up effort.

Garbage should be placed in an accessible location. Please do not park in front
       of the garbage or place any other items around it.
