Clean-Up Little Haiti Project
-Persons with special needs will be at the heart of this community event-

(Miami, Florida)—MACtown Incorporated, Jewish Federation Volunteer Center and Little Haiti NET will be participating in a “Clean-Up Little Haiti” project, Monday, July 25, 2005 from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm near MACtown, a not for profit organization who serves adults with disabilities and has been located in the Little Haiti neighborhood since 1962.

Over 100 adults with disabilities will be participating in the community project. The project will include picking up all the trash, mowing vacant properties and planting some foliage to spruce up the local area. The event will take place in the areas between 62nd Street and 64th Street and extending from NE 2nd Avenue to North Miami Avenue.

Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer may contact MACtown, at (305) 758-4485 and speak with Lana or Ray.
