When are the City Commission Meetings televised?
City Commission meetings are the second and fourth Thursday of each month. The meetings are televised live on City of Miami Television during the regularly scheduled City Commission Meetings. Commission meetings are rebroadcast the following Thursday at 8:00AM and every Saturday at 12:00PM  

 What if I missed a meeting?
Please visit the programming schedule to see when the meeting  will be rebroadcast on City of Miami Television. All public meetings that are aired on Miami TV can also be ordered from the Office of Communications. The Office of Communications only provides VHS copies of meetings. If you need a transcript of a public meeting or agenda please contact the City Clerk’s office.

 How do I find out what is being televised on Miami TV?
To find out what is being televised on City of Miami Television, please visit the monthly Programming schedule.

How can I get a copy of a show or meeting that was televised on Miami TV?
To order a videotape copy of city meetings, events or programs that were aired on City of Miami Television. Please fill out the video tape form and email it to Communications@miamigov.com or fax  in your request to (305)-416-1441. The written request should identify the meeting or event, its airing date and the number of copies needed. The request should also contain contact information. There is a $35 fee to be paid by cash, check or money order made payable to the City of Miami.

All requests are filled within 5 to 7 business days. When the copy of the video is available, a representative from the Office of Communications will contact the requestor.

Does the City of Miami accept tapes for re-play on its television station?
The City of Miami Office of Communications accepts tapes from non-profit organizations and other municipalities. For more information please contact the Office of Communications at (305)416-1440

 I have a problem with my cable whom should I call?
 
If you have Comcast, you can call its customer service center at 305-232-8132.

My production company wants to shoot in the City of Miami, how do I get a permit?
Film permits can be obtained from the Office of Film, Arts, Culture and Entertainment. Contact Robert Parente and Katherine Sanoja at 305-860-3823.

 I want to learn about special events going on in the City of Miami, what should I do?
If you are interested in finding  out about special events in the City or want to have a special event. Please contact the Office of Special Events and Cultural Grants at 305-642-1271.

How to reserve a meeting/press room?
To reserve the chambers or staff press room e-mail a written request with the time and date you would like available to the department of hearing boards to::

If the room is available you will receive a confirmation letter through e-mail. As a condition of approval, the group’s representative must arrange and pay for the services of an off-duty city of Miami police officer. The police officer shall be on site the duration of the meeting and shall be responsible for ensuring the security of the building and its equipment. To obtain the services of the police officers, the group’s representative should contact the off-duty employment of the Miami police department.

Can I bring my own audiovisual equipment When I am doing a presentation at City Hall?
Yes, Individuals can bring their own CD’s or laptops. Please contact the Office of Communications a week in advance to inform them of any technical assistance you may need.
