Celebration of New Playground
at Bay of Pigs Memorial Park

(Miami, FL December 15, 2017) - On Saturday, December 16th, at 2:30 p.m. the City of Miami will host a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Community Block Park to celebrate its new playground at Bay of Pigs Memorial Park, located at 5665 S.W. 3rd Street.

City officials invite the public to attend the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Community Event while enjoying the new playground. There will be free popcorn, cotton candy, music, and a bounce house.

The new playground has two sections with Game Time Playground equipment for ages 2-5 and 5-12 and a rubber surface. Other improvements include new sod, concrete curbing, and picnic tables. Costs totaled $150,000.00 for design and construction.
