Miami City Commission Chairman Turns to Technology to Combat Zika in District Five

(Miami, FL October 20, 2016) - Miami City Commission Chairman Keon Hardemon and Mayor Tomas Regalado have partnered with TV personality Dr. Gadget to give away equipment to residents in the City of Miami's latest Zika zone to combat the issue of mosquito outbreaks. The distribution led by the Office of Chairman Hardemon will be followed by a press conference highlighting the product and its anticipated impact to the affected areas. The press conference will be held on Friday, October 21st at Athalie Range park, 525 NW 62nd Street, Miami, FL.

The product, the DynaTrap DT2000XL, attracts and traps mosquitoes from over the range of an acre. The goal is to use this machine to reduce the mosquito population in the area.
