Miami Mayor Regalado Urges Community to Aid Haiti Earthquake Victims


-The city announces drop off points and
partners with relief organizations-

(Miami, FL)- While emergency relief and rescue efforts are underway in Haiti, Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado today announced the city will collect emergency items at its Fire Stations and NET Offices.

Given the magnitude of the devastation, relief organizations have requested priority food items and encourage cash donations.  The city will partner in this massive relief effort with Food for the Poor, World Vision, Red Cross, and Catholic Charities and Camillus House.

Emergency items for earthquake victims will be accepted at Miami Fire Stations and NET Offices during business hours from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
