City of Miami Community Relations Board in Partnership with Miami-Dade County Community Relations Board and Community Advocates Hold Fair Immigration Summit


-Summit to serve as a platform to share immigration issues-

(Miami, FL)- The City of Miami of Miami Community Relations Board (CRB) is partnering with Miami-Dade County Community Relations Board, and community advocates to hold a Fair Immigration Summit on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 from Noon – 4:00 p.m. at Stephen P. Clark Government Center, 111 NW First Street, Second Floor, Chambers of the Board County Commissioners.  The Summit is open to the public. 

The purpose of the Summit is to develop a local consensus of the priorities for immigration legislation that reflects our community’s diversity. Topics will provide an opportunity to prepare for the upcoming national debate on immigration reform. Discussion topics include: Legalization and Pathways to Citizenship, Fair Immigration Priorities, and many more.
