|
(Miami, Fla.) – Bicycling magazine and MetLife are bringing BikeTown USA to Downtown Miami on Thursday, August 27 at 11:30am. People interested in how a bike can improve life for themselves, their families, and our communities are invited to this free, family-friendly event, where they can test ride Jamis Commuter bicycles from local bike shop Elite Cycling, meet Mayor Manny Diaz and learn more about the benefits of bicycling.
In its seventh year, Bicycling’s BikeTown USA, presented by MetLife, is giving away new bicycles and gear to local residents. Selected participants will receive a new Jamis Commuter 1 or Citizen 1 bike, a helmet from Lazer and a lock from OnGuard. All participants will have the opportunity to test ride a bike and learn more about bicycling here in Miami.
