-Reading Corner to benefit area residents near Liberty Square-

(Miami, Florida) – The City of Miami Community Relations Board (CRB) is partnering with Hands on Miami and its volunteers to open a community library on Saturday, July 11, from 9am - 12pm, in Liberty Square Community Center, 6304 NW 14 Avenue, Miami, FL.  The community is encouraged to attend.

The project is part of the Hands on Miami’s Open A Mind with a Book initiative. The books donated by Miami’s CRB and Books & Books will fill the shelves of a Reading Corner in Liberty Square Community Center and are designed for children in pre-K to 3rd grade.  The books were selected by the Miami CRB to relate to the CRB’s mission to foster mutual understanding, tolerance, and respect among all economic, social, religious and ethnic groups in the City of Miami.
