The City of Miami’s Application Process
is Going Digital

(Miami, Florida) - The City of Miami has launched a new online application system which allows for the submission of electronic job interest cards for positions that are not currently open, the submission of online employment applications at the convenience of the user, and receiving notifications via e-mail.

The online application process will be supported by NEOGOV, an internet based application.  NEOGOV is an industry leader for providing on-demand HR technologies to public-sector agencies across the nation.  Online applications will be stored on a secure site and only authorized employees and hiring authorities have access to the information submitted.

By submitting employment applications online applicants will be able to:
• Submit an application at their convenience
• Upload and attach required documents electronically with the application form
• View the status of the application throughout various steps of the hiring process
• Receive automated notifications once the status of your application is updated
• Complete a Job Interest Card for positions of interest to you

To submit a City of Miami application online the applicant must have a unique e-mail address, which can be obtained through one of several e-mail subscribers for a free e-mail account.

Individuals that do not have access to a computer at home, can visit any of the Technology Learning Centers available as a result of the City’s Elevate Miami initiative. These centers are equipped with computer labs that are open and free to the public.  To find out computer lab hours of operation, please contact the Technology Learning Center nearest to you.
