(Miami, Florida)- The City of Miami Office of Sustainable Initiatives and Dream in Green will be demonstrating its commitment to green building during its first annual Gateway to Green on April 7 and 8, 2009 at Jungle Island, 1111 Parrot Jungle Trail Miami, Florida 33132. 

Hundreds of building professionals will come together to connect with sustainable building products and services, green industry experts, and influential leaders in the community. With over 50 exhibitors, educational presentations and matchmaking opportunities, Gateway to Green is sure to lead Miami into a revolutionary green building movement.

•  Vendors will be showcasing energy efficient lighting, water conserving plumbing fixtures, eco-friendly flooring and much more.

• Independent, third party certification organizations will help to educate attendees on the different seals and symbols that help these products meet rigorous environmental standards.

• Community leaders and experts will discuss available government programs to help educate the public on their ability to promote sustainable growth in Miami.

• Matchmaking opportunities will connect building professionals to facilitate future business relationships. 

The cost to attend the expo is $35 per ticket.  Vendor and sponsorship opportunities are also available.
