Dear City of Miami Neighbor:

Recently, you may have received notification indicating that your property was located in a flood zone.  Every year, the City of Miami sends notices regarding hurricane preparedness as well as specific information for owners of properties located within the floodplain.

This year, properties not located in the flood zone may have received this letter in error.

If you have not received this notice before and did this year, please disregard the flood zone portion and focus on the hurricane preparedness portion.
