(Miami, Florida)- City of Miami Parks and Recreation will reopen Grapeland Water Park on Thursday, August 21, 2008 for normal operating hours. The delay in opening is due to the re-installation of pool deck equipment that was removed in preparation of Tropical Storm Fay, checking and restoring chemical levels in the pools and checking all park equipment and pool installations for any damage to ensure the safety of customers once the park reopens. 

The park will open again it doors to visitors at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2008.
