(Miami, Florida)—Commissioner Marc Sarnoff, joined by family, friends, municipal employees and city residents will be sworn in for a four year term, as District 2 City of Miami Commissioner in a ceremony to be held, Sunday, December 2, 2007, 5:00pm to 8:00pm, at the Coconut Grove Expo Center, Main Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive.

The swearing in ceremony will start promptly at 6:00pm and will be officiated by Judge Michael Genden.  Rabbi Pinchus Weberman from Temple Ohev Shalom will offer the invocation. Neil Bayer, partner at the law firm of Sarnoff & Bayer, will be guest speaker.  The National Anthem will be sung by Nina Hernandez, a student at Florida Christian School under the presence of the City of Miami Color Guard.

All guests are invited to join the Commissioner and his family at the reception following the ceremony.
