(Miami, Florida) - Commissioner Joe Sanchez, Chairman of the Downtown Development Authority (DDA), will join volunteers from Hands On Miami on Sunday, October 21st, 2007, from 3:00pm-5:30pm, to paint Downtown Miami storefronts in order to rid the area of graffiti. 

“Adding a fresh coat of paint to different Downtown storefronts is an initiative I have always wanted to implement as Chairman of the DDA.  I am very excited that this initiative will now become a reality, and I would like to thank everyone involved in making this happen.  This is a giant step in making downtown Miami a more attractive place to work and visit.  I invite anyone who is interested in volunteering to join us,” stated Commissioner Joe Sanchez.
